Branding

This is a branding project for a eco-friendly trade show for home renovations. A collaborative effort for the band mark and the brand. My team and I researched our brand’s theme, vendors, target demographic and other small details. After the research stage we started brainstorming names and everyone put their ideas in a google document and we decided from there. The name Brite Haus comes from two different name ideas, one that I came up with and the other one was from an idea that another team member came up with. 

We then branched off and did some more brainstorming with concept sketches for the icon, and I came up with around 15 different ideas. Our team regrouped to discuss and choose the design for our icon. We collectively chose a concepy that I had come up with and I just had to make some minor tweaks to it. 

The brand incorporates an angle that is used in their branding and social media. We chose the colours black and green because we feel that they represented the technological theme while still grounding the brand in eco-friendliness. 

I created a style guide for this brand and some applications that represent the brand by using the design elements that we had chosen as a group.
