This is a branding project for a gothic themed restaurant called Gothique. The style is inspired by 16th century France and uses dark and moody colours to express this. 

The brand mark reflects this restaurants unique design because of the narrow typeface that uses the stained glass window motif in almost every letter and the window icon above the word mark. The reason I incorporated the stained glass windows in my design was to further the feeling of that gothic style by using elements of gothic architecture. 

The reason I chose black to be Gothique’s main colour is that it gives that moody feeling while bringing modernity elegance to the brand.
